Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Emotion Focused Therapy for Individuals Couples and Families

Mental health issues can manifest in your behaviors, thoughts, feelings, emotional reactions, body and relationships. Part of the therapy process is identifying your symptoms with more clarity and making connections to their source. Together we will identify and work on old, trapped patterns held in your body, thoughts, heart and beliefs. As old patterns release, heal and transform you will begin move forward with new awareness and will have learned new ways to protect, nurture, and guide yourself.

As we work together old depressive, anxious and obsessive-compulsive symptoms may decrease in severity and frequency or completely lift. You may experience transformations in your relationships.

The Therapy Relationship

Finding a therapist you feel is a good fit and building trust over time is key. Connecting to yourself more and more fully in the context of a safe and meaningful relationship is part of healing and resolving troubling issues. A good therapist client relationship has been shown to be the most important factor in effective and lasting positive mental health outcomes.

Medication

I do not prescribe medications. At times psychotropic medications, psychedelics, or Ketamine treatments may be important parts of your treatment plan. We can discuss these options together and connect you with a collaborative provider if these treatments would benefit you.
